Job summary

New Pioneer Food Co-op is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to support daily store operations and help create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every customer. This position covers cashiering, stocking, customer assistance, food handling support, and maintaining clean, shopper-ready spaces, contributing to the store's smooth operation from entry to checkout.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful customer service throughout the store.
• Operate registers accurately while supporting smooth customer flow and checkout experiences.
• Support stocking, replenishment, merchandising, and product rotation across departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across customer facing areas and workspaces.
• Assist customers with product questions, carry outs, and general store support.
• Support food handling, packaging, and preparation tasks as assigned.
