Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, with bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with organizational and detail skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety, operation, and procedure documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and understanding instructions.
• Operate POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies and skills, such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Meet federal and state requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Maintain FOID card requirements (Illinois only, Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Walking, reaching, talking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling as needed.
• Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use fingers repeatedly.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
