Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Support of people and processes to drive operational excellence and meet sales targets (Cashier only).
• At least 4 years of personal experience with outdoor hobbies such as fishing and hunting preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, possibly bilingual.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
• Proficiency in basic math and understanding written and oral instructions.
• Operate POS, symbol, and telephone equipment (Cashier only).
• Ability to write reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems (Cashier only).
• Passion for outdoor hobbies and skills such as fishing, hunting, shooting, camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm transactions (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly service to customers and team members.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to hear and see adequately to perform duties.
• Adherence to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Regular walking, reaching, talking; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling.
• Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use hands and fingers repetitively.
• Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and focus adjustment.
