Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience with POS equipment, symbols, and phones preferred (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies and skills preferred, especially fishing and hunting (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection only).

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect with customers and build rapport; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to read and follow safety and operational instructions.
• Proficiency with basic math and understanding written instructions.
• For Cashiers: experience with POS, reporting, and inventory systems.
• For Outdoor Enthusiasts: passion and knowledge of outdoor hobbies.
• For Fishing and Hunting: ability to sell and process firearm transactions and obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois).
• Proficiency with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong situational awareness and emergency response skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet hearing and vision standards.
• Ability to walk, reach, talk, sit, climb, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Repetitive motions and specific vision abilities required.
