They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly service, helping customers navigate the variety of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experiences:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Experience supporting operations to meet sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoor hobbies and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with customers, bilingual skills a plus.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow safety, operation, and maintenance instructions.
• Proficiency in basic math and understanding instructions.
• Operate POS equipment and coach others (Cashier only).
• Proficient with inventory software and order systems (Cashier only).
• Passion and knowledge of outdoor hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm sales (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Lift up to 10 pounds constantly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and perform repetitive motions regularly.
• Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
