They are responsible for ensuring fast, friendly customer service, helping customers navigate the wide range of products, and impacting customer satisfaction, store profitability, and our mission.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice preferred (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Work Experience:

• Previous related work experience preferred.
• Operating POS equipment, symbol, and telephone preferred (Cashier only).
• Supporting people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets (Cashier only).
• 4+ years of outdoors hobbies, interests, and skills; fishing and hunting experience preferred (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• CPR and First Responder certification is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).
• Loss Prevention or Criminal Justice background is a plus (Asset Protection Team Member only).

Skills:

• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Ability to connect, build rapport, and engage with customers, with bilingual skills as a plus.
• Effective problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety and operational documents.
• Proficiency in basic math and applying instructions.
• Operate and instruct others on POS equipment, symbol, and telephone (Cashier only).
• Write routine reports and correspondence (Cashier only).
• Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems (Cashier only).
• Passionate about outdoor hobbies and skills such as fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping (Outdoor Enthusiast only).
• Must meet legal requirements for firearm transactions and FOID card (Fishing and Hunting Sales Team Member only).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong situational awareness and observation skills.

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Acceptable hearing and vision to perform duties.
• Adhere to work hours, policies, and rules.
• Frequently walk, reach, and talk; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.
• Lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, handle, and use fingers repetitively.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
