Job summary

AutoZone in New York's Inwood neighborhood seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, energize team performance, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead with strong communication, ensure WOW! service, and help manage stock and cash flow with a focus on profitability.

We value integrity and growth; the role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. ASE certification is preferred, and bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive parts knowledge and strong leadership abilities.
• Proven communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training and developing staff.
• Ensure clear communication with employees and customers to provide WOW! service.
• Help meet sales targets, maintain inventory accuracy, and optimize store profitability.
• Maintain safe, organized store operations and compliance with company standards.
