Job summary

Tractor Supply Company / Petsense is seeking a Store Team Member in Rio Rancho, NM to support store leadership with daily operations. You will assist in merchandising, cashiering, and live-animal care, ensuring excellent customer experiences and adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring retail or pet knowledge, are at least 18, and can work varied shifts, including weekends. Training and policies will be provided, with emphasis on teamwork and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Read/write and count accurately is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and ASM with execution of operational, sales, and merchandising objectives.
• Provide outstanding customer service to customers, vendors and team members.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment and train team members on policies and procedures.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and assist in daily store operations.
• Handle live animals including feeding, housing, and care per policy.
