Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Live Oak, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, supervise associates, maintain stockrooms and sales floor, and ensure safety and policy compliance while delivering friendly, high-quality service. This role requires physical effort including lifting up to 55 lbs and standing for long periods; previous retail leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment and professional customer interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
