Pet Supplies Plus 4255 is seeking an on-site Store Team Leader to guide daily operations, lead a team of associates, and drive performance in a pet-focused neighborhood store.

You will oversee customer service, scheduling, and store profitability while promoting a culture of care for pets and people. Successful candidates bring hands-on leadership and a passion for the community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or store management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools.
• Ability to operate store equipment and lift up to 65 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

As a Store Team Leader, you’re pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. You will lead the store, develop your team, and drive results while delivering exceptional, neighborly service in a fun and engaging pet retail environment. From jumping on the floor to welcome a new puppy to analyzing store sales performance and inspiring your team to hit goals, you play a key role in creating a trusted, pet-centric destination in your community.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• 2+ years of retail leadership or store management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred (High School Diploma/GED required)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
• Ability to operate store equipment (including forklift, where applicable)
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 65 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18+ years old and able to meet hiring requirements set by the local franchise owner
