Job summary

Velocity Staffing, Fate, TX, is seeking an Assistant Store Team Leader to support the Store Team Leader in daily operations, lead the team by example, and deliver exceptional neighborly service to customers and their pets.

You will assist customers in selecting products, help improve store performance, and participate in hiring and coaching activities. This role requires at least 2 years in retail leadership and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer-facing leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred (High School Diploma/GED accepted).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling)
• Ability to operate store equipment as needed
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules
• Must be 18+ years old and able to meet hiring requirements set by the local franchise owner
