Job summary

Follett Higher Education in California is seeking a Team Lead to work closely with the Department Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise, driving sales and profits.

As leader on duty, you will respond to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, open and close the store, and ensure safety and security of all bookstore property and staff. The role requires adaptability and a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including creating and saving text documents and sending emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead on duty, respond to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Open and close the store.
• Ensure all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.
• Assist Team Members with completing store tasks and training.
