Job summary

GUESS Factory in Grapevine, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the customer experience, lead staff training, and maintain store standards on the selling floor and in the stockroom.

You will model excellence, coach team members on product knowledge and selling skills, drive sales, manage payroll and loss prevention, and ensure policy compliance while upholding visual merchandising and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and development of store staff and lead by example on the selling floor.
• Ensure an excellent customer experience and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales and payroll.
• Control assets through loss prevention measures and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
