Job summary

Break Time is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations in Savannah, MO. You will coach team members, assist with store finances, ensure daily tasks run smoothly, and cover the Store Manager during absences.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, reliability, and leading a team during peak hours. Retail leadership experience and a valid driver's license are preferred for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with transportation to/from bank.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform math calculations for cash handling and reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate office devices.
• Able to move products in cold environments and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in store operations and daily reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep.
• Provide excellent customer service and support peak hours.
• Support merchandising and promotions, pricing, and stock levels.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager and train new staff.
• Maintain communication with customers, vendors, and staff on store operations.
• Understand store finances and help control expenses and losses.
