Job summary

Break Time Convenience Store in Savannah, MO is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, process transactions, stock merchandise, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with company policies.

The role requires friendly customer service, basic math for cash handling, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Training will cover food prep, safety, and loss prevention, with opportunities in a team oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer service oriented and thrives in a fast paced environment.
• Customer service, retail sales or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate computers/ POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, handle transactions accurately and courteously.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock shelves, including merchandising and pricing.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and teammates.
• Work as part of a team to follow policies and operate store operations safely.
• Operate POS systems and handheld devices, complete shift reports and perform cash handling.
• Assist in training new employees on policies and procedures; support loss control measures.
• Assist with food preparation following guidelines and ensure proper temperatures and portioning.
• Maintain a clean environment and proper product displays, rotating stock as needed.
