Job summary

Ultimart is seeking a Team Lead/Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager in Wisconsin. You will ensure smooth cash handling, maintain inventory, and promote a positive guest experience across shifts.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be 18+, and capable of training new team members while driving sales through suggestive selling and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Process cash, debit, credit and checks via POS.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and stocked inventory.
• Deliver outstanding guest service with a positive demeanor.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to boost sales and guest satisfaction.
• Follow state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Promote company culture, policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain punctual attendance and assist team as needed.
• Assist in training new team members and cashiers.
• Motivate and coach store staff; resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Monitor gasoline prices and report to corporate as directed by mgmt.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entry.
• Maintain physical ability to perform cashier duties.
• Understand daily reporting for store operations.
