Break Time Convenience Store is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations, coach team members, and assist with store finances in the absence of the Store Manager. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, leadership, and adherence to company policies across all tasks.

The position requires energy, motivation, and the ability to manage merchandising, scheduling, and store performance while promoting food service and safety standards within a busy Missouri location.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work and/or support all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with adequate transportation to/from bank.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with accuracy and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers — Provide excellent customer service by engaging with the customers and encouraging the store team to do the same; greet and thank each customer and provide fast and friendly service.
• Day-to-day store operations— Assist in all aspects of store operation including daily reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, fuel management, and ensuring the facility is well maintained.
• Merchandising and sales— Assist in pricing, promotions, stocking, and fronting merchandise including the cooler.
• Supervising— Assist in general operations of the assigned store; shift supervision in the absence of the manager.
• Communication — Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, vendors, other employees, and management.
• Financial Responsibility— Understand store finances and control expenses; participate in audits and loss control.
