Job summary

Dollar Tree in Santa Fe, NM seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You’ll assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise and train associates, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills and a hands-on approach to inventory, merchandising and loss prevention. You’ll open/close, process directives, and maintain clean, well-stocked floors.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Experience in retail or store operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and supervise staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives related to store activities and maintain displays.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and ensure store cleanliness and order.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
