The Soma store at Bellevue Square in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a welcoming, customer-focused experience.

You will drive sales by empowering associates, manage inventory and daily operations, and build community connections through store events and philanthropy. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to succeed in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
