Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store and supervise team members while supporting the Store Manager. You will handle scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory, cashiering, and deposits, with a focus on profitability and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a retail environment; 6 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; operate cashier and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory; control damages, markdowns, scans, and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms; ensure proper merchandising per Store Manager direction.
• Assist with store finances: cashier accountability, refunds, deposits, and cash handling.
