Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Keizer, Oregon. The role involves assisting with daily activities, organizing merchandise from delivery to sales floor, and helping supervise and train Store Associates.

You will ensure a positive, safe environment, manage store cleanliness, and uphold company policies while delivering excellent customer service. This is a part-time position based at the Keizer store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform lifting and standing activities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support training and development of Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
