Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in our Oregon location. You will help supervise daily activities and work closely with the Store Manager to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Key duties include merchandising, open/close procedures, payroll and scheduling, cash handling, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, organized sales floor and stockroom. You will also train and guide store associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with a positive, helpful attitude and answer questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and complete required communications.
• Maintain store displays and promotional materials.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, organized store and stockroom; protect assets.
• Train and develop store associates; promote a safe, respectful environment.
• Uphold store policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
