Job summary

Talbots in Hingham, MA is seeking a Store Operations Specialist focused on Systems and Operations. You will support store teams by improving business systems, troubleshooting issues, and creating training materials. This on-site role partners with Store Support and external vendors to drive simpler, smarter store operations.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and experience with workforce management tools. ABachelor’s degree is preferred and weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems and operations, preferably within a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of business requirements development, system testing, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Workforce Management Applications and reporting tools.
• Vendor management experience coordinating with projects and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• System Testing and Validation: create/execute scripts to ensure system functionalities meet requirements.
• Support and Issue Resolution: assist store users with inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• System Access Management: manage system access and Workforce Management apps.
• Communication: deliver clear weekly operational updates with the Communications Team.
• Operations Coordination: support day-to-day tasks and implement process improvements.
• Rotating Weekend Responsibilities: cover weekend payroll processing and respond to store emails.
