Avolta is seeking a Manager for Store Systems in Bethesda to lead a team of IT professionals, consultants, and vendors to implement store systems from conception to deployment.

The role focuses on managing workloads, ensuring system stability, and delivering end-to-end solutions aligned with business goals, PCI security standards, and future growth plans. Candidates should have 5+ years in IT solutions architecture and 2+ years in leadership within hospitality or retail settings.

Qualifications

• The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years.
• 2+ years in a leadership role supervising IT professionals delivering implementations.
• 5 years as a solution architect delivering systems solutions; 2 years with VMware.
• 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages associates, consultants, and vendors to deploy store systems from conception through deployment and within budget.
• Directs maintenance to ensure stability and availability of systems for users.
• Develops metrics for customer-facing systems and collaborates with departments for integrations.
• Manages back-office services related to 2 and 3 store systems support.
• Partners with IS Security to address vulnerabilities per PCI requirements.
• Directs software and interface upgrades.
• Conducts analysis of requirements to recommend technology solutions and roadmap.
• Establishes relationships with departments and vendors to execute plans.
• Analyzes and leads time-phased resolution plans for IT issues.
• Ensures designs deliver optimal customer experience and deploys new technologies.
• Develops custom scripts/tools supporting operational outcomes.
