Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Key Carrier/Supervisor to assist management in operating the store and achieving company goals. You will supervise all aspects of store operations, open/close duties, Loss Prevention, safety, and audits while training associates and maintaining product availability.

As the local, community-focused hardware retailer, you will lead by example, ensure a safe work environment, and collaborate with the General Manager on daily store execution and improvements.

Qualifications

• Ace Hardware experience required.
• Previous retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of store.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve problems with the customer and store’s best interest in mind.
• Supervise the general operations of the store and implement new SOPs.
• Assist with daily maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor areas.
• Oversee cashiering functions including training, audits, and reporting.
