Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Wisconsin LLC in Arcadia, WI is seeking a capable store manager or assistant to support daily store operations, supervise associates, and ensure a positive customer experience on the sales floor.

You will handle merchandising, opening/closing, cash handling, and compliance with company policies, while maintaining clean, organized spaces and helpful, professional interactions with customers and team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits), and loss prevention.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
