Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly service.

You will monitor store entrances, enforce safety standards, and greet customers with confidence and a smile to promote control and security. As an SCA, you will identify theft risks, report incidents to the Manager on Duty, and support shortage reduction programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, or loss prevention preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet customers with a warm, confident, energetic greeting and eye contact.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to Manager on Duty.
• Support shortage reduction programs and train associates as needed.
