Job summary

Wegmans in Westwood, MA is seeking a Part-time In-Store Shopper to fulfill customer orders via our app for curbside pickup. You will work with technology to communicate, pick items, bag and stage orders, process payments, and maintain a tidy, ready-to-fulfill workspace.

Weekend availability is included. Candidates should have customer service experience in retail or food-service settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders.
• Accurately fulfill customer orders and stage them for pickup.
• Bag items properly and handle all product with care.
• Make substitutions as needed and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace.
• May perform other customer service duties in-store, including running a register.

What You'll Do

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders

• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area

• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer

• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments

• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace

• May be expected to carry out other customer service duties within the store, as needed, including running a register
