Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking an in-store shopper to support curbside pickup and assist customers in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will use a store app to find and fulfill orders, bag items carefully, and prep orders for pickup.

Morning shifts with weekend availability are required. This part-time role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and friendly communication with shoppers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders.
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area.
• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer.
• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace.
• May be expected to carry out other customer service duties within the store, as needed, including running a register.
