Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is hiring an in-store shopper to support curbside pickup operations. You will leverage a company-issued device to communicate with customers, select and stage grocery orders, and ensure accuracy and quality for pickup.

This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires strong customer service focused on convenience and satisfaction. Applicants should be comfortable with flexible part-time scheduling including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, and be able to work

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to communicate with and fulfill customer orders.
• Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in fulfillment area.
• Properly handle all product, including properly bagging items to reach the customer.
• Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workspace.
• Carry out other customer service duties within the store, including running a register.
