Job summary

Murphy USA is hiring a part-time Shift Lead in Rio Rancho, NM. You will deliver friendly customer service, operate the register, and help manage store operations to meet goals.

Requirements include 18+ years old, cashier experience, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include daily pay, healthcare, 401K, and education assistance. Salary ranges for shift leads are posted as $13.50–$14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in IN, 20+ in KY, 21+ NM)
• Minimum 6 months related job experience or high school diploma/GED
• Requires at least 3 months of cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to bend, stand and reach repeatedly; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel and merchandise availability
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment
• Support Store Manager in all store operations
• Help lead team to exceed performance goals
• Perform duties as assigned and assist during staffing gaps
• Assist with daily/monthly paperwork, inventory ordering, and training new employees

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer’s requests and concerns
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
