Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Maintenance Team Member in Wichita to uphold cleanliness and safety standards across floor, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices. The role focuses on courteous, efficient service to customers and Team Members while adhering to SOPs and supporting other job descriptions as needed.

The position requires physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the shift, and working in wet/cold environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Helps maintain the store’s landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
