Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to perform cleaning and basic upkeep across floors, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices while ensuring a positive store image through courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members. You will follow SOPs and support store programs and safety regulations.

Able to lift 50 pounds, stand 6–8 hours, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; prior retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Maintains store cleanliness to meet health and safety standards.
• Upholds WFM core values and SOPs in daily tasks.
• Supports multiple store teams and can perform duties across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives on time, well groomed, and ready to work.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
