As a Store Sales Manager at Palmetto Moon, you will lead the store in key areas including:
Communication
- Build strong partnerships with District Manager, Visual Merchandising, and other store sales managers to achieve store initiatives and goals.
- Communicate store business and financial objectives effectively to the District Manager and provide feedback on store results, customer demands, trends, and needs.
- Instill a 'Customer is King' mentality among all employees.
- Maintain positive communication within the store team.
Business Management
- Analyze business trends, develop plans to increase sales, and control expenses to enhance profitability in partnership with the District Manager.
- Monitor and measure financial, operational, and service results; hold team accountable for achieving goals.
- Oversee labor management and identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Ensure store standards (visuals, cleanliness, inventory levels, safety) are maintained according to company policies.
- Adapt to changing environments and adjust team priorities accordingly.
- Focus daily on delivering the best customer experience.
Team Development
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and train staff to meet financial goals and improve performance and customer service.
- Identify potential leaders and collaborate with the District Manager to develop high-potential team members.
- Recruit talented individuals and work with HR for guidance and support.
- Create a positive team atmosphere by recognizing outstanding performance.
