Job summary

PUMA Group in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Store Associate to deliver high-quality customer experiences while driving sales and profitability. You will support store leadership, assist with scheduling, and ensure brand standards are met.

Requirements include 1–2 years in retail, strong communication, team spirit, and basic MS Office/retail software skills. The role requires standing and lifting up to 30 pounds and willingness to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
• Proven ability to exceed sales goals and communicate to groups
• Strong team player and excellent communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and use basic MS Office and retail software

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of customer experience within the Store in line with PUMA’s brand values and service standards
• Help the Store achieve or exceed sales, KPIs and profitability through planning, expense control, and service
• Assist Store Manager with recruitment, training and development of staff
• Support payroll control and scheduling to maintain profitability while delivering service
• Communicate merchandise opportunities to Store leadership and manage inventory counts
