Job summary

GUESS Factory in Grapevine, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the customer experience, train and develop the store team, and uphold store standards on the selling floor and in the stockroom.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, support the Store Manager, and coach associates on product knowledge, visual merchandising, and service delivery to ensure outstanding results.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer experience on the selling floor and stockroom, ensuring store standards are met.
• Train and develop associates, providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge and selling skills.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and assist management with all staff.
• Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Ensure policy compliance and effective communications with the team.
