Job summary

LOFT is seeking a Sales Lead in Leawood, KS to model exceptional customer experiences and guide a team of associates. You will partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations and be ready to step in as manager when needed.

You’ll own coaching, onboarding, and maintaining brand standards, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing store environment. This role requires flexible availability, strong communication, and the ability to balance customer needs with store goals.

Qualifications

• 6-months of retail sales experience (preferred).
• Management experience (preferred).
• Proficient with point-of-sale systems.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to organize, delegate and prioritize tasks.
• Takes initiative and makes thoughtful decisions.

Responsibilities

• Be a representative of the brand and model personalized customer experiences.
• Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team.
• Support an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and engaged.
• Uphold the highest visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
• Use tools to drive a customer-focused team environment and profitable business.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching so each associate can excel with customers.
• Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
• Use technology to stay informed on priorities and promotions and provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Seamlessly step into the role of manager when needed.
