Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead at Store 5052-Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton, CA. You will supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and create a welcoming, customer-centered atmosphere that goes beyond the transaction.

In this role you’ll lead by example on the sales floor, coach staff, manage store operations, and help deliver memorable experiences aligned with Soma’s culture of hospitality. Regular part-time hours with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
