Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. seeks an Associate Lead to support store operations, drive customer service, and maximize profitability. The role involves supervising sales teams, handling cash and inventory, and executing promotions with a focus on loss prevention and excellent store standards.

The Associate Lead will train staff, review performance metrics, and coordinate scheduling while ensuring a great customer experience across the district. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Minimum 2 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers; respond to inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Performs cash handling, price changes, merchandise handling, and open/close duties; reviews payroll paperwork.
• Monitors sales activity; motivates and trains associates to achieve targets.
• Maintains awareness of customers to increase service levels and reduce security risks.
• Manages merchandise presentation, promotions, and stock replenishment.
• Supervises associates in sales, inventory receipt, and customer service; prepares weekly schedules.
• Coaches store associates and provides performance feedback to the Store Manager.
• Assists in development of store associates; analyzes KPI reports and delivers guidance.
