Job summary

Chico’s FAS, Inc. is looking for an Associate Lead to support store operations and drive customer experience across the district. The role involves supervising sales associates, managing cash handling, scheduling, and inventory control.

You will train staff, monitor performance, and promote merchandise in line with current promotions while maintaining loss prevention standards and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Minimum 2 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers and handling inquiries.
• Performs cash handling, price changes, merchandising, and open/close duties; reviews payroll docs for accuracy.
• Monitors sales activities and productivty; coaches associates to achieve goals.
• Maintains awareness of customers to improve service and reduce security risks.
• Maintains knowledge of current promotions and presents merchandise accordingly.
• Supports receipt and dispatch of inventory per policy.
• Supervises sales, inventory receipt, and cash reconciliation; prepares weekly schedules.
• Models sales techniques and suggests merchandise based on customer needs.
• Builds customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Ensures merchandise handling, loss prevention and other duties are performed.
