Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Missouri is seeking a Store Sales Associate I to deliver friendly customer service and assist with donations and transactions. You will operate the POS, balance cash drawers, restock merchandise, and maintain an organized, mission-driven store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or are pursuing one, are reliable, and can handle flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly customer service and represent The Salvation Army’s mission and values.
• Greet donors and shoppers warmly and assist with transactions at the register.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle all cash transactions accurately.
• Open, close, and balance cash drawers per TSA cash handling policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking, straightening racks, and cleaning work areas.
• Follow all policies regarding the sale of donated goods.
