Provide excellent customer service and represent The Salvation Army's mission and values
Greet donors and shoppers warmly and assist with transactions at the register
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handle all cash transactions accurately
Open, close, and balance cash drawers per TSA cash handling policies
Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking, straightening racks, and cleaning work areas
Ensure merchandise is displayed properly and replenished regularly
Follow all policies regarding the sale of donated goods
Work collaboratively with team members and store management
Support store productivity benchmarks and contribute to sales goals
Be available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
High school diploma or currently pursuing one
Retail, customer service, or cashiering experience preferred
Basic computer and cash-handling skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally team lift up to 100 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a store environment that may be dusty or experience temperature changes
