Job summary

The Salvation Army - Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command in Independence, MO is hiring a Store Sales Associate I for our thrift store. You will help create a welcoming shopping experience, assist with donations, and keep merchandise organized while supporting mission-driven programs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and cash-handling skills; ability to operate POS.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and represent TSA's mission.
• Greet donors and shoppers and assist at the register.
• Operate POS and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Open, close, and balance cash drawers per policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and restock merchandise.
• Support sales goals and team collaboration.
• Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
