Job summary

Deseret Book is seeking a part-time team member for the Valley Fair store in West Valley City. You will help customers, operate a cash register, locate products, and handle wrapping and imprints as needed.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining a clean, organized store; shifts include days, evenings, and Saturdays to support customer needs.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction with customers in-person and over the phone is expected.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Good product knowledge is preferred.
• Computer skills can be helpful.
• Strong team skills are important.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach required.
• Must be flexible to work days, evenings, Saturdays and holidays.
• Clear communication with customers and associates is essential.
• Ability to locate and identify products for customers.
• Regularly lift 20 lbs and occasionally 35-50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods is required.
