Job summary

Deseret Book is seeking a part-time sales associate in Cottonwood Heights, UT to deliver world-class sales and customer service. You will operate cash registers, locate products, take orders, imprint, and gift wrap, while stocking shelves and organizing merchandise.

Flexible shifts include days and evenings, plus Saturdays, with Sundays closed. Candidates should be friendly, self-motivated, and able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Overview

Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT (6972 S PARK CENTRE DR COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS UT, 84121)

Job Type: Part Time

Wage: $14.55/hour

Our sales associate will provide world‑class sales and customer service, selling Deseret Book products and services, operating cash registers, locating products, taking orders, imprinting, and gift‑wrapping. They will also maintain store appearance and organization by stocking shelves, unpacking merchandise shipments, and assisting with merchandise presentation.

Shift Schedule

Flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, Saturdays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas).

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with customers in‑person and over the phone on a day‑to‑day basis.

• Ability to regularly lift 20 lbs and occasionally lift 35‑50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
