Position Overview: Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are experiencing growth, offering opportunities for leadership and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight and assisting with price changes/markdowns.
2. Balancing registers according to company policy.
3. Calling out prices for customers during transactions.
4. Efficiently bagging merchandise upon transaction completion.
5. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly as per company policy.
6. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary.
7. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
8. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, and inviting repeat visits.
9. Following all safety procedures.
10. Maintaining a professional and neat appearance, including wearing a name tag.
11. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management.
12. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers post-transaction.
13. Supporting Store Manager with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and adhering to operational policies.
