Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing registers according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly per company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, assisting fitting rooms, ringing up customers promptly, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising according to stock levels
• Supporting management with tasks as requested
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Assisting with loss prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
