Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices during transactions
5. Efficiently bagging merchandise
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely ringing, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock management
13. Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers
14. Supporting Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and reporting theft or dishonesty
