Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes/markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
9. Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing up transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock levels
13. Helping management with tasks as requested per company policy
14. Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
15. Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements
