Job Objective: Provide excellent customer service to our shoppers and donors. Maintain a clean and well-organized work and shopping environment. Handle each transaction with accuracy.

• Present a professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
• Accurately manage the personal cash drawer; including opening, closing, and balancing. Follow all Salvation Army money handling procedures.
• Understand the Point of Sale system and complete sales effectively and efficiently. Proficiency should be achieved within 3 months of employment.
• Maintain a clean work environment at the cash register and throughout the store, including cleaning, straightening, hanging, and restocking as needed.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor, greet customers, and offer assistance.
• Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding merchandise sales.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and display new merchandise. Work towards meeting daily production goals.
• Be available for a flexible schedule.
